About the event
Hand-sewing is a life skill disguised as art. In this workshop, kids learn basic stitching techniques while creating a fabric collage filled with textures, buttons, beads, and whatever materials call to them.
No sewing machine required - just needle, thread, and the patience to learn something new. They'll practice running stitch, whip stitch, and attaching embellishments while building a tactile art collage.
They take home a finished fabric collage that's part art project, part sensory experience, and 100% theirs. Plus they'll know how to sew on a button, which their future self will thank them for.
